Institute of Neurological Sciences and Psychiatry

The Institute aims to provide advanced educational and research facilities for training successful scientists and academics in the fields of neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry.

The Institute of Neurological Sciences and Psychiatry provides these opportunities to specialists in neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry. In addition, fellowship training is offered in rapidly developing subspecialties that require multidisciplinary approaches, including cerebrovascular diseases, behavioral neurology, epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, electromyography, clinical electroencephalography, neuro-immunology, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric neurosurgery, spinal surgery and movement disorders. These programs are equivalent to fellowship programs offered abroad and commence after completion of specialty training in clinical neurological sciences. They aim to develop skills and knowledge in the areas mentioned above.

In addition, our institute offers a Basic Neuroscience Ph.D. program for medical students, as part of the recently started combined MD-Ph.D. program. We also have short-term training programs, which provide an intensive course on specific subjects determined by the Institutional Board.
